Named after the founder of the hotel, this room is very traditional but very versatile. It has it’s own separate bar area, cosy fireplace and interconnects with the Thomas Stocks Room, so can become a much larger space if needed. Perfect for private parties.

To add a bar space onto the Thomas Stocks Room you can add on the Alice Maud Room for a larger events space. The room would then include a private bar, a dancefloor & large event space. For even larger events you can open these two rooms into the William James.

For a larger event space you can open the Alice Maud & Thomas Stocks into one large room. Or for even larger events we can also add on the William James Suite for the largest function space we offer (see Thomas Stocks Page for more information).
