“78 Design ” is a local, Doncaster based company run by myself, Kate Broadhead. I am a Photographer who covers corporate events, weddings, commercial fashion and personal portfolio work. I had the opportunity to use the facilities at the mount Pleasant hotel for my latest christmas shoot for ASOS Marketplace, for vintage clothing brand Retro-Fix. I also worked on a portfolio shoot for two models, Sophie Westerman and Sheerena Byrne. The theme was ‘Boudoir’ so we really wanted traditional style rooms that would reflect the vintage mood of the shoot.
The suites were fantastic, giving us tons of opportunity to be creative, particularly the copper bathtub!

Kate Broadhead is a professional photographer and artist with over 12 years experience. She has produced professional graphic design, fashion design, portraiture, sporting events, casting shots and wedding photography.

For larger events such as weddings, Kate works to produce pictures that really shows off her style whilst not missing a moment of your big day. Any requests are considered so please feel free to contact Kate and she will be only too happy to discuss your needs.

Vladmir the Tiger

The Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel is proud to be associated with the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in becoming adoptive Zoo Parents for Vladmir and Sayan two Amur Tigers who now both live at the park.

Vladmir and Sayan are Amur Tigers which are also known as Siberian Tigers. There are less than 350 Amur Tigers in the wild. Amur Tigers are the largest and heaviest subspecies of tiger.

The involvement of  the zoo in Amur Tiger conservation is essential. Yorkshire Wildlife Park aims to increase public awareness of their plight in the world. www.yorkshirewildlifepark.co.uk
